The Bushehr Province Date Association, as a legal, specialized, and non-profit institution, operates with the aim of organizing, developing, and promoting the date industry in Bushehr Province. This association was established within the framework of the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran and under the supervision of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture, possessing independent legal and financial personality.

In Iran, there are 400 different varieties of dates, among which Bushehr Province is the capital of date production and the conversion of date food energy. Bushehr Province is located in southern Iran, and its hot, dry climate has made the province rich in dates. With 6 million date palms and 40,000 hectares of date palm cultivation, it holds the top position in the processing industry and ranks second in date production in Iran. Among its areas, the counties of Dashtestan, Tangestan, and Dashti have the highest annual date harvest, respectively.
